Our First Aid training course is designed for First Aiders to manage patient care until the arrival of an Ambulance and how to respond to First Aid emergencies that may happen at home, office or anywhere in daily life.

Fitness to participate
This training course involves the completion of an online workbook prior to the start of the training session which is submitted on the morning of the training course.
This unit deals with the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty and applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. Many practical exercises are included as part of the training.
Note: There will be a short 40 question multiple choice assessment to be completed on the day. 100% pass is required.

- Fractures, strains and sprains
- Bites and stings
- Environmental illnesses
- Spinal, head and facial injuries

HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID003 Provide first aid
Assessment of this course is through written and practical assessment including the observation of students carrying out a range of scenarios. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment.
Classroom theory via PowerPoint in addition to the online pre-learning exercises.
